Mining - Processing - Geological - Quarrying
Our client operates an antinomy and gold roasting facility. The project has been designed to produce antinomy metal for export and a Training Coordinator with knowledge of operations and EHS based training needs is required.
Responsibilities of the role:
The Training Coordinator should have experience with instruction or training; Knowledge of instructional and learning theory and principles; Knowledge of instructional design, training methodologies and learning management systems; Experience in competency assessment; Ability to organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs and develop training aids such as manuals and handbooks; Ability to facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, simulation, on-the-job coaching, etc; Experience in training budget management and establishing and maintaining relationships with external training suppliers.
Requirements for the role:
• Strong technical English, communication and presentation skills. • Previous experience in a training role, in a mining environment preferred • Education/Training in the relevant field • Certifications such as ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) will be a plus.
The Training Coordinator position is an initial 2 year residential contract in Oman and offers a competitive tax free salary along with additional benefits. The position can be either married or single status.
