Principal Consultant Geostatistician required for an International Consultancy Group to carry out technical assignments and act as Project Manager where required. Experience in geostatistical modelling required in order to speak authoritatively and be regarded by his/her peers as an expert. An appropriate technical qualification, either a degree or diploma is required, together with problem solving skills, a strong client and team focus, sound report writing skills, good computer software skills.
The Principal Consultant will prepare reports; act as Peer Reviewer for designated projects as advised by the Group Manager; supervise, as required, activities of Senior Consultant, Consultant, Junior, Graduate, temporary and support staff; coach, mentor and develop the skills of more junior staff; maintain good relations with clients; pro-actively pursue marketing activities to promote the company (e.g. regularly publish technical papers or articles, attend technical conferences); build relationships with new and existing clients; ensure compliance with relevant statutes, codes of practice etc.
