A Gold Mining Company in the Middle East requires a Manager to run the Metallurgy section of the Project/Technical Services Division. The role will involve leading the team in ensuring the proper development and implementation of all metallurgical and process testwork associated with the evaluation and feasibility study work. In addition the position will be responsible for the process plant designs associated with the feasibility studies and be a prominent member in the construction, commissioning and start up team of major projects.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Metallurgy/Mineral Processing plus at least 15 years experience, of which a considerable part would have been spent on gold processing/recovery. In addition, the candidate will need skills in process design, metallurgical testing and a good knowledge of heap leach/flotation/agitation leaching technology.
Knowledge of Arabic an advantage.
