Australian based Mining Company in Africa requires a Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of all mobile and fixed plant on the company’s project sites in West Africa. The role will include establishing and managing plant maintenance systems including planning and cost reporting, providing technical input to plant maintenance staff on project sites, maintaining the plant fleet at an acceptable level of mechanical availability and cost, evaluating equipment cost performance, implementing an equipment rebuild program, and reporting on a monthly basis on cost and performance of all items of plant.
The ideal candidate will be educated to diploma level, have at least 10 years experience in maintaining plant (fixed and mobile) preferably in underground contracting plant maintenance and management. This position is offered on a two year contract.
