Australian based company is looking for a Project Manager in West Africa to provide effective leadership and management to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the designated mining project site in order to maximise shareholder returns while sustaining excellence in customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include timely compliance with all contractual obligations whilst managing the site operations in a safe, efficient, and harmonious manner, plus provide appropriate leadership, vision, motivation and direction in aspects of Safety, Environment, Training, Production, Engineering, Administration, Human Resources and Labour Relations.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a Mining Related subject (i.e. Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering) and have at least 12 years experience, of which a significant portion will have been on Mining Operations and Project Management.
